This package includes a consultation, resume, and cover letter. Cover letters are helpful to have on hand especially for those that may be making a career change, military veterans looking for a job as a civilian, or even a recent graduate that wants to find a job within their field of education. Many company’s online careers pages give the option to attach a cover letter in addition to a resume, making this package useful for additional documentation in your application process. Once this package is purchased, we will reach out to you via email within 1-2 business days to schedule our initial consultation meeting (this can be via phone or video conference- your personal preference). In the consultation meeting we will discuss your career history and goals moving forward. We will be able to get a better understanding of you and the direction we need to take with your resume. From there, we will send you a brief questionnaire. It should take you no more than 30 minutes to complete and you do not need to worry about wording or making things sound a certain way – that is what we are here for. You will simply type things out as if we are talking. We like to go through this part of the process in writing because it keeps the complications and possible misunderstandings out of the scenario. Once you start talking dates, jobs, years, accomplishments, etc it is easy to put things in the wrong place or even lose track of those details. Also, certain details that may not be important to you could end up being an uncovered gem for your resume- you never know! Once we get the completed questionnaire back from you, the turnaround for a first draft of both your resume and cover letter is around one week.
